Dr. Ye is a Board-Certified Family Medicine physician with additional specialization in Geriatric Medicine, and she is also a licensed acupuncturist. Her path into medicine and Oriental Medicine is deeply rooted in her personal experiences, shaping her commitment to providing comprehensive, compassionate care with a strong focus on long-term patient relationships.
Patients frequently describe Dr. Ye as compassionate, thorough, and attentive. She is dedicated to understanding each person as an individual—not just their symptoms—believing that meaningful connection leads to more accurate diagnoses and more effective, personalized treatment plans.
Originally from Shanghai, China, and raised in McLean, Virginia, Dr. Ye completed her undergraduate education at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She went on to study Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at South Baylo University and further refined her skills during an apprenticeship in China, where she earned her Master of Acupuncture. She later graduated from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California, completed her Family Medicine residency at USC Hospital, and pursued fellowship training in Geriatric Medicine.
Dr. Mark A. Johnson is a board-certified family medicine physician with more than 15 years of clinical experience. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Brigham Young University, completed medical school at Western University of Health Sciences’ College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California, and finished his residency at Valley Regional Medical Center/UW Medicine in Renton, Washington.
Dr. Johnson’s clinical interests span the full spectrum of family medicine, with particular experience in managing ADHD, depression, and bipolar disorder. He is known for being hardworking, attentive, and deeply committed to understanding and supporting his patients’ needs. He values patient input and strives to build meaningful, long-term relationships through compassionate, high-quality care.
A devoted husband and father of four, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with his family, exploring nature, and connecting with diverse cultures. He is excited to join East West DPC, where he looks forward to making a meaningful impact as a direct primary care physician.
